Deadbeat Predictive Control Method for 4-leg Inverters

Until now, computational burden alleviation and stability issues for the three-phase four-leg converter has not yet been thoroughly investigated. However, compared to conventional controllers, implementation of predictive current control approach 3-Ø, 4-L inverter suffers a large due its additional fourth-leg. Motivated by this fact, article provides an alternative which offers reduced effort achieve similar performance as FCS-MPC ensures global closed-loop system. To further understand consequences developed law, theoretical analysis carried out that links Lyapunov's direct method with system behavior. The outcome demonstrates overall is later supported experimental results. With proposed method, number possible voltage vectors required obtain optimal vector in each sampling interval reduces from sixteen five thereby simplifies prediction process.
